ALL FOR ARTISTS: FUERZAfest Charlotte

Fuerzafest is coming to Charlotte, North Carolina!
Attention all artists! FuerzaFest is thrilled to invite artists of all disciplines to participate in FuerzaFest Charlotte!
We are seeking creative individuals who delve into and reflect upon the unique experiences, struggles, and triumphs of being Latinx and LGBTQ.

FuerzaFest Charlotte aims to create a platform that amplifies diverse voices within the Latinx/e LGBTQ+ community. We believe in the power of art to challenge perceptions, foster empathy, and provoke thought.

Artists from any background and discipline are encouraged to apply, including but not limited to:
1. VISUAL ARTISTS: photographers, painters, mixed media artists.
2.PERFORMING ARTISTS: Musicians, singers, dancers, actors, poets, and performance artists.
3. WRITTERS: Poets, playwrights, spoken word artists, and authors.
4. FILMAKERS: Documentarians, narrative storytellers, and filmmakers exploring Latinx and LGBTQ themes.

Submission Guidelines:
1. Applications must include a brief artist statement, outlining your connection to Latinx and LGBTQ themes.
2. Please provide a portfolio or samples of your previous work that align with the festival's vision.
3. Specify the medium or discipline you work with and any special requirements or considerations for your artwork.
4. Include a short biography, highlighting your artistic background and experiences.
Important Dates:
- Application Deadline: SEPTEMBER 29
- Notification of Acceptance: OCTOBER 5
- FuerzaFest Event Dates: October 21st and October 22nd
