On Saturday, May 21 - we completed the seventh edition of FUERZAfest with a BANG, as we welcomed dancer/choreographer Carlos Falú and his troupe who delivered a spellbinding and dexterous choreography that left us wanting more. What a privilege to be part of his first production as curator!

Turn It Up! - is a powerful celebration of our diversity, heritage and the sexuality that defines and exist within our Latinx/LGBTQ+ communities. So get ready to be amazed by these diverse group of performers appearance alongside Carlos. It will be a journey of authentic bliss in the hopes of a greater tomorrow for all of us.

About CARLOS FALÚ
Carlos Falú is a dancer and choreographer raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Started dancing in the college dance team of the University of Puerto Rico – Bayamón. In 2014 he became part of the young ensemble of the premiere contemporary dance company in Puerto Rico called Andanza and in 2016 he became part of the company performing new works and repertoire from Nationals and Internationals choreographers. Now he lives in New York city after filming West Side Story Movie, directed by Steven Spielberg and choreographed by Justin Peck. He recently worked with the choreographers Annalee Traylor, Javier Padilla, Dolly Sfeir, Jenna Van EIslander, Karla Puno Garcia and others. Is a member of the companies Boca Tuya, directed by Omar Roman de Jesus, and Falcon Dance, Directed by Britney Falcon.
